what do you mean by sample man? everything here is retail out of the original box.
no change in clock skew's and other things... almost everything on auto except
    cpu voltage/mch/ddr and memory timings...
everything else on auto and STOCK cooling.

2nd place for the Q9450 on HWBOT.

saying you did no tweaks at all is admitting either you just got lucky or it's a damn great board

isn't everyone getting lucky in OC? sure you need to do alot and test..
but still, the main thing here is LUCK.
just for the record... thats an AWSOME board. thats all i can say..
and i think i can get more than that.. almost sure

yeah, in a sense you're right. but i wouldn't imaging giving a nice CPU/board/memory with ln2 to a random person on the street and show him how to jack up the fsb will result in WR's. it does take some level of experience in the settings with the right hardware.

but i do applaud you for those number though

believe me, the fact that the board volts are on auto is also cause i tought he knows how much to give to each device on the board...
thats the exact same settings i'll run if i'll need to decide which to choose.
i tried alot of combinations and this one was the best..
sure i did hard work for this score, but most of it was the board itself.

I just sold mine, didn't go past 552MHz FSB no matter how I raped it. Hugely impressive FSB on that board though!

Motherboard (retail) sample? Sample is a sample, ES or engineering sample is a engineering sample, simple as that.

    Anyways congrats.

544MHz with Quad core cpu is very nice to see but the 675MHz result is also really impressive and yeah, that's all on stock cooling.

    Congrats mate!
