Here are some "BLACK" heat spreaders. FYI you have to buy 3 sets of these they only come in 2GB sets.. Also they are very tall compared to stock heat spreaders.. I will post pictures compared to these Kingston HyperX models. They look really cool specially on a Foxconn Bloodrage board..

Depends on your chips IMC. But as stated they really do 2000mhz 8-8-8-@1.65 anything better is a bonus.

Cant believe these went back up at this price... might pick up a few more kits

Is that why the price is so low?, I mean, if they are Elpida chips, they should do 7-8-7-20 like the other brands right? or are these like "lower class" elpidas?

4 sets total headed my way now, with 1 set from andre here already. Too bad they changed the limit to 2 per customer, thanks to andre probably haha, ordering 10 ridiculous sets. All I can say is if this new batch is anything like the old batch, they are very close to dominator gt's and under 1/2 the price. I wonder how many newegg actually has of these...

Got 2 more sets just now, 6 total from this sale now haha. I think maybe people are buying multiple sets and getting denied because of the 2 per customer deal. I've just got multiple people in my family buying these now for me. When I tried to get another set earlier today for myself, it went through, then they emailed me a cancellation because of the 2 per customer limit, so maybe people are buying them and then getting denied and the sets go back in stock explaining why they go in and out of stock every couple minutes.

I just ordered a set also.

Not sure why since I sold all 4 of my X58 systems and CPUs aleady.

Just waiting until Oct-Nov to build a 32nm system with some RV890s.

Unless these new D0s can do 4.7 GHz on Water I'll wait for 32nm

Well out of the 2 sets that arrived today, 1 is dead. A single stick in the first set I tested fails memtest, the other 2 when in the system alone, pass. So 1 of the batches is headed back to newegg for RMA. The second set I tested after that, was great, even better than the set andre sent me. 7-8-7-20-1t at 2000mhz at 1.67v. The date on these in CPU-Z is week 11 of 2009, so they are definitely fresh. Just giving you a heads up on these sticks, run memtest when you get them to filter out any DOA sticks.

Oh come on george, you're a self described "memory addict". You know people can't resist temptation of getting their hands on these elpidas for so cheap hahaha. You're one of us, you know what it's like when you see those high frequencies and low timings, you just want to click buy buy buy....
