you did a really good job, i hope mine comes out even half as good as that.

I just finished taking everything apart, need to mask off areas i don't want to get paint on and then just do primer and paint.

only using air cooling for now but i do want to eventually get water cooling and this case seems like it does a good job with a wc setup.

I just moved everything from my antec 900 to my haf after painting the inside black, it has way more room and i think having black inside the case makes it look a lot cleaner.

thanks for your pics and progress gunth

yes the top has room for air.. Here's some pictures that will explain it better for you. The top is designed with vents on the forward plastic so that fan gets air as well.

See the front has a vent for that third fan, or first fan depending on how you look at it.

    here is a top view.

Let me add by telling you all, yes I know I didn't finish screwing the RAD down. I ran out of screws. I went and got more that next morning and its all good now. It's been running strong. And I'm soon going to be changing the RES to either the EK Multi 150 (Sitting in the closet) or the T3 when released.
Check out the ATH-AD500's. they are amazing headphones. I love em.

Thanks for all the Compliments guys. and zbomb. Looks good. Nice work. pictures seem fuzzy or dusty or something though.

I know this maybe a little late.
    but sweet build mang.
I to have a HAF, which is wc also and you paint job is superb.
I am gonna "re-do" my loop when my new hardware comes in.
i7 rig is in the works. gonna add another MCR-320 to my loop.
    Keep up the good work.
I am thinking of switching my cpu block to the GTZ, I have the fuzion v2
I like the way the GTZ looks looks uber.
    take it easy.

Doing a build very similar to yours, painting ATM (just the interior too), and I have some different stuff too. I'm not a WC virgin, so I'm adding a GPU (GTX 285) to the loop as well, and maybe a second rad later on. Some good stuff. I'll have a worklog up VERY soon.

    Awesome job so far!

    Fans

So let me get this straight... you have 3 fans ontop of the rad pulling fresh air through the rad where it gets heated by the rad and forced into your case where 2 285gtx's are creating more heat along with your hard drive and motherboard.

Wouldnt it make more sense to:

Have the Side Fan and front blow fresh air in, set up the rad fans in a pull config blowing heated air out the top so the rest of your components don't get heated up more than they already are by the video cards?

Am i the only one that that thinks blowing more hot air into your case is a problem here? I'm no pro at airflow and water cooling but in my head this just creates more heat so if there's been some study done to prove me wrong, i'd like to know this because i'm planning a new setup soon and this will be my basis.

Other than that, I love your build and will probably copy the layout.
