[GOOC 2009]Gigabyte Open Overclocking Championship 2009

Anybody attending Czech in April '09 ?

As far as i know Gigabyte will do qualifying rounds all around the world and then the EU OC Community will gather to Czech at 24-25 April.
The GOOC Final this year will be at Computex Period at Taipei !

Greek Qualifiers are here google translated .

From UK i read here that K404 and jabski is going

    Any other competitors ? ? ?
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

Great stuff! Was informed that the North American competition will be April 24th-25th in LA. I unfortunately have exams the following week but I think I'll risk it just to go to LA again and see everyone

I'm kind of wishing the platform of choice would be AM3, it would make for some stellar overclocks Maybe this Core i7 D0 stepping will be available by the competition and make it a little more interesting.

Gigabyte should do something like this for all countries. Open to anyone who can submit scores and then just take top xx number of people. Would level the playing field a little bit since it seems many people have contacts at gigabyte and just automatically get picked?

The UK is having a qualifier at the end of February in Milton Keynes. No guarantees obviously but Jabski an me are hoping to impress and hopefully we'll see the rest of the Euro guys in April for a beer or many
