Glad twwen2 came to the rescue. I had the same problem with my first go with the GTZ.

Gotta ask ... you know we all love your photos. Wondering what lighting you are using? They really are top notch pics.

Well it's nice to hear i'm not the only one!

With the lighting i'm using fluorescent lights because the case was to big to make a light box for (so instead i just use the fluorescent white lights aimed at the background and a small amount in the image)

    updates incoming..

The past couple of days i've spent setting up the test loop and i must say i was nervous as hell! But now it's all been worth it! From the past months studying these forums and being a sponge, it's all paid off

I know it's not the best looking loop, but for my first attempt i'm extremely happy!

Looks nice, but I'm a little confused with your setup. Could you explain your loop order and what that T is for? Why do you have a fill port when you can just use the res top? Or are you leaving that as a drain port?

Also, what fitting are you using between your res and pump?

    Loop order is res>pump>rad>rad>cpu>res.
The T is my drain valve (I use the res top to fill)

For in between the pump and res i used a BP male to male G1/4 fitting

Yep, it's a big one..Don't tell anyone that I had to take two photos and stitch them together just to make it fit in one image!

    Nicely done mate

You need to give more info on the cover you have over the GPU....like what is it made from - how is it attached etc....

Other than that - looking good for your first LC build

    Oh, my mistake

It was actually made from those plastic set of storage drawers you buy from K-Mart and put together yourself. I just used a dremel to cut out the bottom of one of the spare drawers then sprayed it with one coat white primer, two coats of flat black quick dry spray paint, followed by some U-channel molding around the edges. To apply i just used some double sided tape on each corner and BAM! Turned out well, i think..

Thanks heaps Seeker, making sure it would be clean was one of my biggest fears when putting it all together. Every time i added another piece into the build, i was getting less and less convinced it would turn out clean. Overall i am happy with my end result!

Great job, and most excellent photos!!!

I think you did it right ... do the CPU first, figure it all out, then add the GPU later if you have a need.

    Very nice, indeed.

Haha, i know, i know.. But it was my first build with water so i wanted to get a feel for things first. Well perhaps some more pics someday

Althought once i'm done overclocking i'll post temps and such.

Thanks heaps Shazza! Yeah, eventually i will be adding the GPU and perhaps NB, but for now, this is just getting me used to maintaining a system with water and getting a feel for the whole setup. But i am loving the end result! Thanks for your comments!

Yeah, it's pretty sad, but rewarding!

I think this one is the only one i have that shows most of the internals, i don't think i can take anymore photos atm. It's such a pain to unplug and setup the room for photos and then take the case downstairs, take the photos, pack up and lug the case back up to my room. Sorry Cosmos!
