    Post Project: Switch Box

    [Switch Box].

    Introduction:
Lurking around these amazing forums for the past six months has given me the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to start my own small project. This will be my first time in the wonderful world of water cooling, leaving me quite anxious to complete the project. It will be a CPU only loop in a TJ07 (how could i resist). Thanks to Dangals, twwen2, and Charles H for their kind advice and knowledge, you guys have answered many a question for me.

My plans are to keep it clean and simple.

    Hardware:
    --
    SilverStone TJ07B-W
    Gigabyte X48-DQ6
    Sapphire ATI 4870X2
    Intel Q9550
    Corsair Dominator 8500C5D 2x2G 1066MHz
    Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema
    Pioneer 216 Black
    WD 640G 7200RPM HDD
    Scythe KazeMaster ACE
    Logitech G15 Keyboard
    Razer Lachesis Mouse
    Dell 2408WFP
    Logitech Z-5500
    Corsair HX1000 PSU
    Vista Ultimate x64 Bit
    --

    Cooling:
    --
    EK-250 Res
    Swiftech Apogee GTZ
    Swiftech DDC3.2
    XSPC Top
    Swiftech MCR320
    Hardware Labs GTX240
    7/16" Tygon R-3603
    BP Fatboy 1/2" Fittings
Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 120x38mm fans
    --

I will try to keep this as interesting as possible for everyone out there to enjoy, as i have enjoyed many work logs from XS. I guess this is me giving back to the people at XS. I hope you will enjoy reading this as much i will have making it.

Small update for you guys. Just some pics of my hardware and watercooling.

As soon as the powder coaters are done with my TJ07's insides i will post pics.

    A BIG thank you to b@llzor for the GTX240 You're a legend!

    That's all for now!

More pics will be added as soon as my case is finished being painted at the powder coaters and my MDPC sleeve arrives

    Nice start bro!

Photos are excellent, much better than any of mine...
This should be good, keep us updated regularly. Did you do any cutting before sending the case away for painting?

Thanks, although i'm going to redo some of the photos (GPU and Mobo) because they came out horrible!

I used a dremel to cut holes in the motherboard tray and the mid plate for cable management then just used some rubber U-channel to smooth things up. As soon as i can i will post pics of them.

    Update

Well this morning i picked up the parts from my TJ07 from the powdercoaters, which i was very happy with as it was only a one and a half day turnaround, not to mention it cost the same as it would for me to do it myself!

I am going to begin piecing this baby back together and will have more pics for you as soon as i can!

    * Next update should either be the rad cleaning or the MDPC sleeving, stay tuned! *

That's a beautiful picture of the reservoir and it looks like the powder coating turned out really nice too. Can't wait for another TJ07 build and with Twwen2 and Dangal's advice you cannot go wrong.

    Update

So far i have been extremely happy with the progress of this build, it's coming a long as planned. My only worry would be making my loop leak-proof But i'm confident that i won't have any troubles.

Well the case has been put back together and i have some photos for you all to enjoy

    Please, comment away!

Next Update should be coming shortly.

That TJ-07 is such a beautifull case, even in standard form. That powdercoating made it even better, a lot better actually. Keep them pics coming.

Do you ahve some sort of photography studio?! the photos are amazing... im gonna ahve difficulty making my pics look THAT nice. I think im going to set up some burgundy throws for my pictures.... seeing as my case wont be black... might make a nice contrast

Thanks for the encouragement, believe it or not but i only starting taking photo's less than a month ago.

Haha, not at all, no studio here. It's all smoke and mirrors i'm afraid, though a photography studio would be sweet. If you saw where i take these you would most likely ROFL!

The burgundy throws are a great idea. like i said, smoke and mirrors.. or burgundy throws and lights
