    Murdermod Zeus style

    Yes, another TJ-07 mudermod, sorry.

I think it's just the most beautifull case for watercooling, so why not take something beautifull and try to make it even better?

The idea is a single loop for cpu and graphics card cooled with a PA120.2 and a PA 120.3, both hidden in the bottom section.
This is gonna be cramped but doable, a nice challenge.

You won't find any ground shaking inovative ideas in this thread and a number of things are just a 1:1 copy from Charles but i hope it will still be interesting enough to see for some.

Let's start off with some pics, shall we?

The case stripped to the bone

With everything apart it was easy to make some holes in the mobotray

Close up hole for the 24pin ATX cable and 8pin PCI-e cable and maybe even the sata cables

With the aid of a stepped drill and a dremel. I killed a cordless dremel in the process...dont ask.

A hole in the midplate behind the mobotray for nice cable management (thanks Charles)

With all the drilling and dremeling done it was time to sleeve the frontpanel wires and hide the pcb with one of those famous Hammond boxes

Can you say fingerprins? The M3 screws will be replaced with black ones as soon as i've found some.

Sleeving can be pretty addictive, soon i was a slave for sleeving and sleeved some extenders

As i'm planning to get a new PSU i didn't want to go through all the trouble of sleeving all the wires seperately so instead i took those extenders.

That's about it for now, the parts are at the powder coater and i'm waiting for a truckload of stuff to arrive.

    More to come.

Nice! It's great to see another one take the plunge.

You might want to pick up some nitrile gloves, they really help you avoid fingerprints and make you feel like you're a "computer surgeon."

What kind of parts and plans do you have for this?

Whilst waiting for parts i kept looking for things to do so i decided to spraypaint the semi-transparant res holders.

This is what it looks like on the res

Should look good on a black background i guess.

    Just some random shots

    Hammond box anyone?

I have to investigate what that stain on the acetal is.

    Oh no, not really hehe.

Could get a complete system for the wife so this will be mine.

Forgot to tell you i sold the RE, the 8600 and the RAM, sometimes i'm an idiot but i wanted something new to play with.

Just got an email from the store telling me they expect my motherboard halfway next week.

Sleeving is easy buddy, if needed i can help you.

I picked up some new stuff tonight and got a confirmation from Nils that he got my payment and will ship out the gear monday! Yay!

I will make pics tomorrow and post them, i have a feeling it's gonna be awesome.

That means 'horny chips' i think
Funny thing is that in German 'Geil' means 'fun' or 'Great', while in Holland it means 'Horny".

I'm looking forward to this build Should be great like any other Murdermod build.

Geil in German means horny too. Just the kiddy-culture made this word become an expression for "great"
But one thing I must say: I have never met someone of the netherlands who was boring. Great country you guys live in!
