    Heads up- Swifty Unisink

If you're picking up a GTX280 from Zotac (specifically the AMP! version with 700MHz core from the factory), be sure to check VRM contact. There is one missing on the unisink. I'm using a stock thermal pad doubled up where it should be and things are fine, but I don't want to see anyone fry their card

I also posted this a month or so ago as I noticed the same thing with my EVGA GTX260 using the Swiftech GT200 unisink. I also just double stuck thermal pads on that VRM so that it made contact.

I think I remember, but yours was in a different spot.

Search didn't come up with anything when I looked, either

can you post the zotac PCB warriorpoet ? i will be apreciated, already looking on the web, still can't get any picture of it

i aiming that GPU down the road...especially that i'm planning to use FC block, afraid that the zotac GTX260-216/280(65) will slighty different from others reference PCB..regarding your post above, about the missing contact on the swiftech unisink..

    thank you..

Man, you should have asked last week

Let me wibble a bit and see what I can find.

edit: Here you go. Note vrm 3-3-1 arrangement. Swiftech has a 3-2-1 arrangement on their unisink.

Hm. I've seen three other cards with the same vrm arrangement. It looks like Swifty just missed this one

Friend: Do you have a spare PSU lying around?
    Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
Me: what PSU was that again?
    Friend: Antec 480w
    Me:........
