But we need to measure the TEC unit to see how big it is. So we can see how it would fit. also the fans should add a nice kick.
I mentioned the TEC on the V10, the 70watt is a 40mm... Anything worth while is 50mm's... It has tabs that only allow a 40mm TEC to fit. I might take a dremel to these tabs... We will see by the end of tonight.

    Tune in for more!

EDIT: There is no way to put a 50mm TEC on that. It just can't fit. The 4 screws that hold the cold plate to the hot plate get covered by the size of my 320 watt 50mm TEC... What is the largest 40mm TEC that money can buy?

What a beast of an HSF. Thanks for the review! Just might have to replace my push/pull Xigmatek 1283 with one of these bad boys.

So it costs twice as much as a TRUE, it's bigger, heavier, and noisier than a TRUE, all for a 2c difference in temps? It is extremely hard to find a reason why someone would pick this over a Thermalright Ultra Extreme.

best forum review ive seen in a while, very nice!
interesting that the thing seems to work well after all, i read the xbitlabs review and was surprised... in their review the v8 beats the v10 for some reason...

What fans on the TRUEs? That's a pretty bad review to draw conclusions from.

Anecdotally though, it does say that that the TRUE/TRUECu/V10 are in the same neighborhood, like every other review so far.

Cooler Master have one of the worse mounting system you can come across, i've built a system for a friend using the vigor monsoon III and i hated it. This thing being bigger than the VM III will make it really cumbersome to install. I see no point in getting it unless for the novelty fact to have teh biggest cooler yet to date.

Yes...the Slipstreams move airflow similar to other fans at the same RPM and have TOTALLY bogus ratings

They blow alot harder then my previous fans. Which were 2400rpm @ 80 CFM.

Anyways, I got my V10 and Modded it with the slipstreams and runs great. If I get a good amb temp. I can hit 30C on my Core i7 and I have a hot one.

    True comparison

Just wondering if you did the comparison of the V10 and the True cooler yet. Great job as always!
