    nice

Man that thing is HUGE, its may be the best for temps, but to me its just way to big, covers up your whole board, whats the point of having a sexy board and ram, then have this thing hide it all, very nice review though.

I think, when someone sees this monster, they will not ask you about RAM

fyi: i recently tested the v10 against the TRUE Copper on a i7 at 3.9 with 1.36 voltage accroding to CPU-Z. it did outperform the Copper by a couple of degree. but i want to do more testing before putting up the data. will have it tonight.

The 2 fans are hooked in with a single 4 pin. Most motherboard will control the fan speed this way at different temps set in BIOS.

You can...it's a 3+1 fan header (PWM fan header).

Is it very difficult to change the fans? I need a silent PC.

Wow. I'm running the V8 passive on my e7200 @ 3600 (1.23v something) and I thought that was big.
Well, also have two 500rpm Scythe slipstreams taking out heat from the system..

Many coolers perform better without the duct. Could it be removed?

What are the dimensions of the TEC?

And has anyone tried bolting on a bigger one?

I wish they had compared it to some Thermalright gear...but they didn't.

Meh, roughly equal to a V8 or Baram at fairly high load...that's a pretty good perspective of what it can do :-/

    V10 Update

Well I got rid of the temp TEC control unit and hooked the TEC up direct and had it running 100% all the time. Disappointing results... 18.7 Degrees C on the cold plate with NO load... Sad sad sad

Here are the pics and the results, Ask me what else you want to see. The 320 Watt TEC won't fit on the V10... That was disappointing, I may need to force it to fit...

Tested on the Phenom II system again with same overclock. 1.525 V core and 3.7GHz...

After dis assembly, I took apart the TEC plug and ran it directly to a 12 V rail, having it direct through an ammeter first.

Maximum amperage was right between 5.8 and 5.9 Amps putting it right at the 70 Watt range.

    Performance

Well after lots of run time and prime 95 etc, I have decided that the TEC on at 100% only benefits idle temps really since on full load the TEC must have been running at 100% anyway.

Let me know what you guys think and even with no load there was no condensation. What is the largest 40mm TEC you can get cause that is what I would need to buy. My 320 Watt TEC is a 50mm and way too big.

    New 100% TEC results

I really did expect more I guess......

I just pre-ordered mine. I suggested the following to Russian.

    http://www.jab-tech.com/Scythe-KAZE-...m-pr-3945.html

But we need to measure the TEC unit to see how big it is. So we can see how it would fit. also the fans should add a nice kick.

Those fans are some 20% slower than stock fans....
