Everyone is saying like "ohh i'm gonna wait for this new stepping", but how the heck can you know if you buy a C0 or a D0 stepping?
There is a big chance that you will get a C0 anyway.
TankGuys has a pre-order page up with an estimated arrival date of 03/25 for the new stepping. Thats how I got my Q6600 G0 back in the day. Guess I will hold of my i7 build for a bit.

Your hypocrisy is unbearable. How can you call someone out on being rough around the edges when you're calling people names and using terms like "verbal diarrhea" in the same damn thread? You even went far enough to have someone put you on their ignore list.
I thought old men were supposed to be wise?
For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.
..
You thought right. When I posted about the verbal diarrhea that was in response to just that. No hypocrisy there at all.
As for the Ignore list, I have alot of people in mine too, and it looks like I'm gonna add another here in a second.
I wasn't the one in here blasting a brand new user with name calling.
Keep it on topic lads... damn this news section is hard to read through lol
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
Yes, don't turn it into a big toilet with verbal diarrhea...

That is very cool that you guys advertise which stepping the CPU is. I have always wanted etailers to do this!
Would it be possible for you to do the same on your Intel motherboards?
For instance, the latest Intel DX58SO Motherboard "BOXDX58SO" is revision 502. I believe this is printed on the box as AA# E29331-502.
I want to wait for the new stepping but the end of march is a long time. Any firm release dates posted anywhere yet?

Any news on these new D0 chips...
Also any news on the 975?
I would replace my C0/C1 920 only if most of the D0 920's can work stable @ 21x215 or if a D0 950 with the same price as 940 C0/C1 can do 24x215 stable.
The 920 D0's should be on shelves last week March or first week April I hear.
