I had wierd graphical glitches that got cleared up with the 181.20 drivers. Performance seemed about the same, but the Vista ones were more stable for me. Also, when I open a lot of windows (explorer or IE) the preview feature breaks.

I'm runnig 7 x32 on my acer one, I didn't have to load one driver, everything (including the fn keys) worked right away.
It is still blowing my mind.
Iv'e had no problems with any program compatibility either, well two that were fixed with a right click and two left clicks.
Right now I would say its the most perfect OS I have ever used, and it's still in beta!
    I'm stoked to BUY it.

i dont really care for it at all myself, no more than i like Vista anyway. aside from beta issues, it works the same on my rig and has not increased my production or helped/change any of the things i do on my computer.
Everyones praise of the taskbar i found odd, cause Vista has the options to make it nearly identicle aside from the new preview features. change to large icons, add a toolbar and presto, just like this:

Everything works for me, but I do experience lockups when watching movies full-screen in WMP. Use something else and the problem's solved though.

Are these DivX or XviD encoded videos? Or straight from DVD? I've had heaps of issues using DivX .avi's through WMP too, with freezes all the time.

But that's been my ONLY issue with it so far, so I've been pretty happy with it. Mind you, I've only been using it on my laptop, so hasn't had anything much more intensive than Firefox and MSN.

Vista has that problem to so that came from Vista. I havent yet ran into that problem on here with Win7 though so I thought they had it fixed.

So far I love Win7. Its pretty and works and seems to do it smoother then Vista and I like Vista to.

EDIT I guess I shouldnt say the problem comes from Vista since it may just be WMP which you can download from there site so it may just be the program IDK.

I really like the features you can do with WMP though like when listening to music and you are doing something else just put your mouse down there and you got almost full control very nice little add I think.

I am using the Vista drivers right now. Haven't had any issues apart from the video lockups which everyone seems to have. Just don't use WMP.

I can only say good things about 7. Okay so my HTC Diamond isn't recognized and was in Vista, but this isn't final anyway. All the rest behaves real well, OS feels very fast and running 3D apps is even faster than Vista. Shaping up nicely.

nVidia drivers 182.05 and WMP works flawlessly.

Have they fixed the file explorer? vista keeps choosing view settings for itself, what it thinks is best.

Or have they have put back the most used right-click item, 'status' on the network tray icon

    One more comment about it:
A coworker put it on two systems @ work.
    Both are P4s
One has HT, the other, does not
    The non-HT has 512MB, HT 1GB
Non-HT integrated Video, HT some crappy ass nVidia card
    Both systems are surprisingly snappy.
So, one thing that can be said is that it is certainly better on older hardware than Vista.
