Sorry under load on the outlet of the 1st HX feeding to the second HX what loaded temps are you seeing with the r170/r1150 blend.

I have remove the EEV Bypass Valve in the 4th Stage and switched the orifice from 2 to 3.

I know your just kidding around but folks need to realise what a PITA it is getting the gas pressures and compressors working just right.

This is not like building a 2 stage cascade it is much more complex and if you check out the electric work you will quickly get lost...

Anyway hes made some great progress and my hats off to him and the guys working with him

well i had another account but i forgot the Password, and the stupid email server was down for about 2 years, so i was SoL,

cascade was on aocm in minfeld, big action to get it from the truck to benching hall, but with pure muscle power it was possilbe! I think we will get some pictures of that in the next few days.
One wheel of the cascade was killed during that, we had to replace it with a car jack
Unfortunaly, the run wasn`t very successful, the 5th compressor had another winding fail after some minutes running, but we have seen something like -140°C on thermometer. There are some videos of that too, just wait some days

And i hope unrockstar himself will give you details soon!

Some people have to work for a living.....cut him a break.....And when there is a problem the buck always stops at the top. I have great employees but some times I need to show up to troubleshoot............It's really a 24/7 job because anything you ever designed/installed can break at any time. Always something to be thinking about.

I'm sure updates will be posted as progress is made.

All I can say is; This is the sickest piece of machinery I have ever seen, very impressive work by unrockstar, and think it rocks (yes; even after it powered off my benchrig during WIn7 install, hah)

compressor has died again. we think that the reason was the frequency unit because compressor is 220V single phase and not 400V 3 phase. when i remember correctly unrockstar wanted to order r50 with 99,95% purenes. but i dont know what will be the next step in process. i cant remember if it works or where we had problems. maybe we can do some more tests in a fiew weeks.
