CPU temp not working with q9400 ?

i had a Q6600 and the usual apps could read the CPU temp

i now have a q9400 but nothing seems to be able to read the temp any more?

I have done a bios update but that hasn't helped

    any idea guys ?

CPU temp is TCase, usually you can ignore that. All you need is to know your cores temperature. Take latest RealTemp and play with it. In this release you have now a build-in plugin for RivaTuner if you use Riva.
If it ain't broke... fix it until it is.

Aaa, you have stuck sensors then. Try a CPU Cool Down test and post a screenshot.

Yeah you got stuck sensors. I do not know if you can do anything about those though.

Press Sensor test, point to prime95 exe (choose Small FTTs) and hit Start. Take a break for 10 minutes and you'll see something like this.

You can try Core Damage to see if your temps are moving. I have a guy in our forums with sensors stuck at 51°C.

Damn, not even Core Damage or LinX are able to move your sensors?
