I had this in my room once. Dropped one and then threw a hard drive at it. Both died.

Yeah I know, but I ended up spraying the whole area with raid, bleaching it 3 times and then mopping it out. I hate spiders.

I don't think it would be very happy about that.

I would keep it as a pet. It's so cool!

I found one of our cats playing with a brown recluce one time. She had already pulled off half its legs, and I'm still REALLY surprised she didn't get bitten! She would have probably died! I got a chill down my back and grabbed her away, stomped on it with my size 10 military boots, then flushed it so the cats wouldn't eat it and get poisoned.

I LOVE spiders... but not the nasty ones. I like the cute little fuzzy ones and turantulas. One time I saw one that was bright green and the size of a frog. It saw me approaching, then leaped several feet onto another branch. Craziest sh*t I ever saw. The thought of that thing still gives me the chills. I saw it down by a creek, behind an apartment complex next to a highway in Greensbero South Carolina. *yeesh!* I'll try to find out what it was and post a picture. I'm pretty sure it was an exotic pet that someone let go, cause stuff like that doesn't appear naturally in that area of the US.

It had a large bright green abdoman about the size of a large acorn, and medium length legs. I saw it pretty clearly before it jumped away. *gets the chills* I don't wanna know what a bite from that thing would be like.

This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions, twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.

A lot of times spiders poisonous to humans are not poisonous to cats.

Lighter Fluid and a Zippo comes to mind with it sitting on that toilet paper. It would go out in a blaze of glory. The air freshner on the back of the toilet also comes to mind. It would make one heck of a flame thrower. After this thread I now feel prepared to do battle.

Well, she's armed and has anger management issues at this time, so I had to think how I'd approach that and figured an M1A2 Tank with a PA system would be best. There are also aliens in the area.

the brown recluse is poisonous to almost everything if it gets into the blood and it can easily kill a full size human if not treated and can force amputation even when treated, and they can take out mountain lions so i would think that i would destroy a house cat

They say that in a human lifetime the average person eats about 20 spiders in his/her sleep. Think about that
