    EVGA X58 SLI Classified testing!!

    965 i7
    evga class with bios nf200 'speacil thanks to evga and peter'
    evga 295
    hyperx elpida based ic ram at 1.65v 7-7-7 ddr1866 to start with

    will add alot more after I eat

    still 1.65v i thought i had set 7-8-7 but i ddint, lol ill rerun in a bit
    this ram is great comapred to any ive tested, but I think the higher binned corsair will prob be alittle better

    Does this new EVGA board have a different chipset? I know it says X58 but wasn't this suppose to be a nforce board?

    no? its still an X58 just with an NF200 chip.

    not much... x8 might affect a one card setup, but in sli and especially triple sli, the 2nd and 3rd gpu are not being close to fully loaded, so increasing the width to x16 wouldn't benefit much.

    my cpu is balls for bclk ill try a 920 this week instead of the extreme I have here
    will these elpida ICs do better tRFC than that? my hcf0s could do sub 60
    I can do 40 at 966mhz so deff caqn do lower Im just not touching subs really atm

    a few runs with -30c base temps
