    GA M55SLI S4 help!

Hello everyone, im using the above mentioned mobo to OC an athlon 64 x2 4200 running from 2.2 to 2.7 with 1.47 vcore and 44c load temps. I seem to have a problem everytime i OC something gets ruined with my HDD, or software. I did something prime stress test and everything seems good and safe with the OC, the ram is good according to memtest 86 and stable with prime95. Ive had to install the OS two or three times. Everything runs great until i start Oc'ing and then thigns start getting out of wack.. my mcafee woulndn't turn on updates, some run32.dll went missing.. Im not too familiar with AMD OC'ing but should i decres the HT link multi or anything of that aspect that may be messing me up? Thanks alot for any advice you could share.

check if sata are linked with fsb. I know my old msi board have only 2 sata port of 4 that works unlink from fsb. So I had to use port 3 & 4 in o/c or I had to reinstall system or win bsod on port 1 & 2
