    Where to put the radiator ...

    Help! My first water build -
    Using a tech station on a rack (see avatar) for i7 965 on ggbt x58 extreme mobo - single loop. WC components just arrived, see below.

    My questions - I can put the radiator 15 inches below the mobo OR with some effort - (adding a shelf)- 15 inches above the mobo. Does it matter? Which would be better? A lot better or just a little? Thanks for all your help!

    Whichever works best for you will be fine as it won't make any difference whether the radiator is 15" above or below your motherboard.

    yea, i cant see it will make much difference, just try to keep it to minimum ammount of tubing

    It would for bottom shelf too, unless the water goes down and not back up again...
