EEE keyboard/ Home theater PC

I found this cool article on a new EEE keyboard that is a PC inside of it with a nice touch screen on it also. They didnt get any specs on it but it looks pretty killer and hopefully performs pretty well.

Wow!

If there was a way to wirelessly transmit video via the vga cable to the tv, that would be nearly perfect.

I'd like to see the cost and performance. That is ideal for a person @ school. Just unplug the monitor @ the library, and throw on a usb wifi dongle. You're all set.

I know that is what I thought. This thing I think is going to be a amazing product depends on the features and hardware. and your idea of wireless would be amazing. I cant wait to see the price it may be my next "rig" buy to replace my laptop or something.

Great idea but what about audio? I didn't see hookups for 5.1 whats the point with out surround sound?

True I never thought of that. I was just thinking video lol... I will try to find more info on it, it should be getting released sometime so I believe so I am waiting on a real review. I just thought it was a good idea for a media PC.

i think the sound still needs to come from the main computer, this is just a keyboard with a processor for the touchscreen right?

I think it will work as a computer and the screen is to help navigate I dont know though. They didnt talk about it to much. I just want to see some reviews when it is out

Get a belkin flywire and you can send your HDMI wirelessly.
