Got any other write benches? HDtune and/or HDtach would be great... ATTO is useless here because the tested file size fits in the controller's cache easily.
How do you know the drive is a V2.1? Mine only says V.2
When I first attached directly to mobo it gave me that version no.
My first ssd's and so far a ok..........

Looking for consistency, but don't like raid0,
Prefer a 3 disk raid5..........(a titch of comfort)..(ideally, the next move)

I think thats the old way of thinking because technically the more drives you have in raid0 on ssd the longer the life. Only issue is if the controller or something else goes out

Data is intact you could probably get a spare drive, void the warrantly and replace the electronics I guess you have to solder since its onboard though. That wouldn't be possible with a scratched up normal hard drive. Depeneds on how much you want the data. Most of us are just running the OS and applications on these things.
