    The VTT Voltage

I think it's high but because you use x4 memory multiplier.

Here's to hoping I can get one that's even remotely in the same league as yours eva

And I do hope those chips like the cold better than my Q6600, which would do EXACTLY the same clocks at EXACTLY the same Vcore regardless of the coretemps being -20 or +60
My 920 coldbugs at about -40, and even -39°C didnt get me 1 more mhz than aircooling did

yeah high ram clocks need higher CPU VTT especially in 3d benchies, 2d/pi apps can get away with less volts but it also depends on ram used. Better ram may allow less CPU VTT required from my early tests - won't know more until I get to test other memory configs out with different ram.

Crap... good thing my unit is tuned for high loads and doesn't go below -35 anways. Will have to see about the OCing on phase, it sure should help with high Vcore and Vdimm (as in, prevent the IMC from crapping out )

    Damm nice scores !!!

But did you disable HT to get 4.5 ? what is the max speed you can run with HT on ? And what is the max stable speed on stock volts with HT on ?

Keep up the good work !

Sounds like a plan to me

will be interesting to see what it does thx

    Hey guys,

just finished with my build an hour ago (DFI x58, i7 920 3838A, 6GB CSX Diablo 2000, custom SS).
    My oberservations so far:

    1. My CPU just hates the 20x mult, it won't even boot at 4Ghz with it
    2. It likes the 19x, so far I am primestable at 220x19 using 1,42V Vcore and EVA's bios template, thanks.
    3. Turbo mode doesn't work.. whether I enable or disable it there is no visible effect. Mult doesn't change under load.

So I think I need a new bios to fix that turbo issue... maybe my CPU likes 21 better than 20. Which bios can you recommend?

Are you sure you have enough cooling? I know other Stuttgart products need to run their fans at very high (and noisy) speeds for cooling, especially in traffic.
