I think turtle rock(got absorbed into Valve) wanted to simply development a bit between the 360 and PC, and they didn't throw in the server browser on the PC version. I don't really understand why though.

Fold for XS!
You know you want to
I'd purchase it if it was around $25. $50 is too much although I made my judgment off playing the demo. Need the next version of Orange Box to come out so i can get this bundled with a few other games
i got a copy of it, finding a game is horrible u ether have to buy a dedicated/have some1 on the back bone or u cant play. i just spent 30mins bouncing out of servers that just crash
i would be really mad but its on a borrowed account

Love tha game, just problems with the servers bouncing me out...
I absolutely love the game. I played campaign so many times with co-op and done a lot of vs. Got over 50 hours on the game and cant get enough. Its 100% team based tho. You need 4 people all stategizing on weapons, positions, ect. I got a good enough group I play with that if one guy gets knocked down, another will take the heat off the guy while somebody revives him so that way we all prolong our life and get through it with as little damage done as possible. Anyone up for vs hit me up on xfire sometime. Xfire= Michowski

I'm more surprised at the lack of fixes for glitches. It's been almost 2 weeks since some have been discovered and yet they still allow common exploits like the infected spawn and melee glitch.
l4d is great add me Quad-Damage on steam. I'm good, lets play some expert
There's a downloadable demo. Don't like the demo? Don't buy the game.

When I first got the game I thought it was awesome. But you can only play it for so long on the same campaigns and the same versus modes. I love playing Expert, but most of my friends usually always wanna play versus and its fun for a game or 2 but when its too easy it gets old real quick.
I don't feel like I got robbed.. yet. If Valve doesnt start coming out with some updates like new maps, new versus modes, new weapons, etc... then I will feel that I payed $50 for a game that never hold my interest for more than 2 hours at a time.

This game makes use of 4 cores rather nicely. I just swapped out my E6600 @ 3.6GHz, for a Q6700 @ 3.69GHz and finally can ENABLE MULTI CORE SUPPORT! After a restarting the game, I notice more consistent, smooth fame rates. NICE! biggest difference is prior to this, when the flash light is on, I can notice a slight FPS lose, but now the game could care less about the flash light on.
Nothing anymore
kind of robbed. It is only fun with friends on lan really. It will be ok as long as they start releasing more maps.
Personally I'd like to see an Aliens mod. I'd do it myself if I had half a clue.
Imagine replacing the characters with a squad of marines and switching the zombies with Aliens. Awesome. Thats probably about the only way in which this game could get any better imo.

I feel for the price it leaves something to be desired. Maybe 15-20 usd would have been a better deal... There are really only like 4 different regular zombies, it defiantly has very little replay value but is fairly fun for the first few times you play it.

I think its great fun with a whole bunch of friends online. its a really relieving break from the competitive gaming I normally do (just got it running last night) I hear versus is a blast as well
just the fact that its multiplayer gets me hooked, I can't sit through any single player games ever, I always feel like I wasted my money to easily kill the computer (unless there's a really good storyline)
Buying this game for the single player is like buying CS:S to play with bots - it doesn't make sense.
That said, I have the luxury of having 2 other friends who play, but also one of them has a dedicated server for L4D - so we always play on it. Also, my pre-mic experiences...forgettable. Got a $9 mic from Microcenter, and the hilarity has only increased.
VS - want to coordinate a smoker/hunter combo attack? Good luck typing that out. Want to make a d-bag on your team rage-quit? Insults over the mic work pretty well

I love this game. The clan I'm in loves this game. There's almost always 3 or 4 people I'm friends with playing, which makes it alot better than playing with random people.
A wolf in wolves clothing.
I bought it for $50, and yeah, it's not all that. And it seems I can't sell it cheap on my favorite forums, due to steam's EULA or forum rules.

I have gotten more play out of this game then frycry 2. Muti in frycry is crap
L4D mutiplayer is great, it's fast fun and different every time. Play on expert with 2 good people and 1 noob, it never gets old. Don't want to kill zombies. Be the zombie. I think it's a great game, I clock about 10 of my 12 hours on the computer playing L4D. I enjoy and can't wait for more maps and guns to come. The game has replay value. Might not be worth it, but i play it over frycry 2 any day.
its more of a spray game than anything else imo...
