    E8400 + DFI + True Copper = 8.9s SuperPi 1M (Air Cooling Result)

    Finally, I changed my config and broke 9s in 2008's Chrismas Night :

    CPU : E8400 E0 Q832B214
    Motherboard : DFI JR P45
    Heatsink : Thermalright True Copper 120EX
    Ram : Cosair DDR2 800 C3 1G x2

    This is my best air cooling record of Superpi 1M

    Nice result, I suggest you to try on DI/LN2
    And how do you disabled one cpu core?

    I disabled one core in msconfig
    so as to run superpi more stable

    Why is CPU-Z showing a x16 link width? The board is hardwired at x8. x16 is not possible with the JR board.

    Oh this is nice!

    I am getting a new E8400, hopefully a nice one we'll see in a few days
    And ill give my JR P45 a go too, i have NH-U12P and a TRUE Black at the ready. Maby ill take it outside, its getting a bit chilly outside in Denmark

    Fastest mATX on the planet anyone?
