    E8500 E0, 5055Mhz with stock cooler

Hello everybody, yesterday i got my new E8500 EO and for now im happy with results. Im waiting to get my Scythe Mugen back, and push more mhz from this baby. Then we go under DICE or maybe LN2 if i will find someone with Dewar.

    results:

    mobo:Asus P5Q
    cpu;E8500 E0
    ram:2X512mb Crucial Value ddr2 667( D9DCL), and 1x512mb SuperTalent ddr2 800(for fsb clocking)
    gfx:Gforce 6200TC
    psu:LCPower GP 2.2 550W
    cooling: Intel stock cooler
    Max frequancy @ 5055Mhz, 1.53V

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=469559

    Max spi1m freq.@4942MHz, 1.53V

Max fsb was 600FSB, buth this is the limit of this SuperTalent, and i bellive that cpu can do more.

Xtreme clocking on stock cooling, that's funny. What a gem you got there, hope you take good care of it and push for 5.2GHz+ with better cooler and 6GHz+ on DICE.

That's a lot of voltage for that chip, especially with stock cooler. I'm running 400x9 on my E8400 E0 with 1.238V, and I still hit 66C on IntelBurnTest and 55C on Prime95 with OCZ Vendetta2.

    Same mobo.

Nice chip, I'd hate to see it die before its time.

    Excellent results!
Now ditch that ASUS P5crap and pick up a real P45 board!
