Better buy a reasonably priced PhenomII then wait 9 months for Intel to release its i5 platform. A platform that performs less then I7, and is already as good as finished or could be finished by now. Intel releasing i5 next year September instead of January doesn't really put a smile on my face.

Or buy a i7-920 now for what? $300? and how many are doing close to 4GHz?
Can't beat that with a stick now can you..
Or if the price of the boards is too high a Q9550 with a P35 based board for under $200 makes a hell of a system.
