Finally it's here! Soon we all can enjoy about this new masterpiece from Foxconn. I haven't test this board much yet, but so far it seems to be perfect.

Everything is easy as walk in the park

Well, no more words. Everyone must test it by themself and see what I'm talking about.

I don't know the estimated price yet, but as soon as I have that info, I will share it. I think Saaya will answer to these questions directly in here.

The waterblock tubing is 10mm. I have to check it later to be sure.

Waterblock should be 100% copper from what I read. The barbs have to be 1/2" for me too. I cannot really tell from the pics, but I am afraid those barbs are not removeable...

Waterblock is pure copper. The holes on the block are 10mm and 10/12.7mm tube is perfect for this. I use this size, so it is good for me.

Well.. there is only one place in EU, who have listed this, so we have to wait some time to see the real price. Tri SLI is not a problem if Dual GTX295 can clock high enough to beat Tri - GTX285

I haven't seen any comments about northbridge heatsink. You can put little fan over it and it doesn't take any extra space. I can't see what is wrong in that

NB heatsink can be changed. Watercooling will also cool PWM just like in BlackOPS

That should fit fine. It may be a bit loose fitting, but you can make it better with some tightener. (Assuming you mean 7/16 of inch.)

There is no tweaks applied.. no copywaza, no maxmem etc..

Ram is A-DATA 1600X XPG D9GTR sticks.

Is the 4.6GHz OC with the stock air cooler or with something like the Cooler Master V8?

Are you using the motherboard's NB/PWM passive cooler option or the active cooler option?

Side question: At this point, do you think the Core i7 965 is worth $500 over the Core i7 940?

He's waiting for a new BIOS hoping for more performance enhancements as in better efficiency, more options, memory compatibility, etc.

Provided that you can cool the CPU to a decent temp, yes it can be.
Normally with a half-decent i965 and a rotary single stage phase cooling unit you should be able to run the CPU at 4.6GHz stable.

I'm assuming that you're not that familiar with the Core i7's.
4.6GHz with the stock cooler is like a wet dream... nah, that's just wishful thinking, it's totally impossible with a stock cooler.
Actually most of the current publicly available i965's cannot hit 4.6GHz with air cooling, nor water cooling as well.

Nope, unless you're into extreme overclocking using "exotic" cooling techniques as in Cascade cooling and Liquid nitrogen.

A i920 is more than adequate for everyone on air/water/phase.

I spend whole weekend with this motherboard. I tried to learn how to clock this board. Well, I can say it is easy. Everything is working well

Speaking about Core i7... I have so bad luck with these chips. I have two and this is what the better one can do in Superpi 32M



Here is what the better cpu can do in 06 CPU test


I will try 4870X2 on LN2 tomorrow. Let's see if I can break 30K barrier with this bad cpu

I will try to find right multiplier + BCLK for vantage tomorrow as well.
