64-128GB SSD, 2.5 inch, 44PIN, with IDE Interface

Looking for a good 64-128GB IDE 44pin SSD for my XPS M170... For some reason they are still very expensive and slow... I found a few on Newegg, but nothing worth buying... Thanks in advance..

if they are particularly expensive they might be SLC drives, the throughput is fairly secondary considering the seek times imo
granted this is only true if most of your activity doesn't involve large amount of file transfers

Which ssd's did you find in newegg?

i was also in search of such a drive, but 32GB...Mtron Mobi 3025 seemed to be perfect but cost of 350-370€ in my country is restrictive...

I guess they're are not going to produce Ide SSD's for much long, so there is no chance of lower prices for that...

And the price is not your only problem: last time I checked, Mtron could provide IDE SLC SSDs only in bulk quantities of 100+ pieces...

Little motivation to spin up IDE production so they will likely always be expensive and become harder and harder to find.

This is the best 32GB IDE drive that I could find on Newegg....

I guess its time to sell my old laptop...
