What is the best 8800 gtx waterblock

I want to know what is the best waterblock for the 8800 gtx. I don't want a pre-installed block just a waterblock. Money is not important at the moment. Also I would like to be available either in the Uk or belgium. Also I would be great if it was Sli compatable for I want 3 8800 gtxs.

Depends. I run intensely quiet systems with very low airflow, so EK HC blocks are best for my situation. EK Supreme VGA blocks get the best GPU temps, along with the D-Tek VGA rev.2 (FuZion GPU), but both are very restrictive and don't cool vregs or mem. The Swiftech GPU block runs a bit warmer than the EK and D-Tek but has lower pressure drop.

The kicker: my OC is the same at 42c (6x Yates @ REALLY FREAKIN' LOUD) or 51c (shared loop with CPU, 3x Yates @5v ~650RPM). The 8800GTX is mostly limited by voltage, not temp past a certain point (seems around 55-60c). At 648/ 1721/ 1053 sans volt-modding I'm not complaining- a few more MHz in either direction aren't going to affect performance much.

What pump? High flow is useless without adequate head pressure. If you haven't already, look into DDC 3.2 models (same as Swiftech MCP355) with aftermarket tops. Martin's Liquid Lab has a top roundup, though the very latest models promise some improvement and are not included (EK rev.2 in particular).

Actually, Martin's is a good place to find your CPU/ GPU block questions as well. He even has a download-able flow spreadsheet.

Rads: Thermochill PA Series, Feser and the Black Ice GTX series are both highly regarded. You can get away with lower RPM (read: quieter) fans on the Feser and Thermochill.

Also what is lower RPM do you mean like 50 cfm or 25 cfm or 75 cfm. As for the Radiator I will go for Feser X-Changer both a triple and a quad radiator.

That sounds like a D5...don't even think that pressure rating is what you'll get, that's how much the housing can handle, not how much the pump produces. You want to look @ max head pressure to determine pump strength.

There is really no need for the best waterblock for the gpu, since any gpu block will do.
They all will achieve roughly the same clocks, because once you hit a certain temp with gpus, it's really voltage thats holding them back.

the dtek gfx rev 2 is about as restrictive as an mcw60 (not very restrictive at all)

Either one of those two would be great.

1. Quiet is subjective (I can barely tolerate any fan around 800-900 RPM, <700 is much better ~500 is perfect)
2. I wouldn't be able to sit next to either of those at 12v and keep my sanity, let alone record
3. The Slipstreams have a bad rep for poor noise characteristics with rads. Look at these:

Keep in mind- some of the guys around here run pretty extreme fans full-bore, so take my advice with a grain of salt as a resident quiet crazy.

highlander- you have tests? I mistakenly referenced D-Tek's GFX rev.1 for pressure drop. If Rev.2 is that much better, that's very good news.

As for the fans I can get all of those so I don't know which to get. I am ok with Dba up to about 35 Db. I listen to a lot of music.
