    Fitting Q

    Ok little confused on one thing. Most likely ill go with 7/16 id 5/8 od tygon tubing, but what size compression fittings do i use? what about regular barbs?

    1/2" regular barbs will work, and give a really secure fit. Not sure on compressions.

    Compression fittings...you really should use the same exact size as the tube.

    Regular barbs...you can use either 7/16" or 1/2" barbs.

    You'd need 7/16" ID 5/8" OD compression fittings, if you decide on barbs I'd recommend some fatboy 1/2" ones because a 7/16" tube fits very snug on those.

    Ok and what are the best/easiest on the fingers clamps for this size?

    Well, I don't use barbs, I don't like them. I did have one build where I used barbs and I used zip ties, it's still technically a clamp.

    Hmm alright. Ill prolly use barbs due to the price of compression fittings.

    I have 1 that's currently being rebuilt that uses some Alphacool comps and all the rest use Legris or John Guest Push-in's. I have another that will use Koolance comps if I can ever get to it.
