"Cpu margin enhancement" option..what the heck??

I've performed many searches for this option, and still cant find out exactly what it does. I have my cheap but damn good P5Q-SE PLUS motherboard, with this option set to "performance", as opposed to "optimal" Would you all say keeping it on PERFORMANCE would be the ideal option? Thanks

I still don't know what it does exactly, but its problematic to say the least. It's to do with clock skews though, I know that much.
