    Corei7 920 on MSI Eclipse

    System:

    .Core i7 920ES
    .MSI Eclipse SLI X58 Mainboard
    .Kingston HyPerX 3GB mixed(I tried 3 pics different dual kit)
    .PC Power 1.2kW
    .Cpu cooling Vapochill LS

    My first time with Corei7 cpu I think MSI Eclipse rock solid and very stable mobo

    MSI Eclipse was the very first i7-board I worked with, too. Some guys dislike it, but I had a good feeling back then.

    Max 220mhz on Vapo I will try with 965EE. I used 2.00v vdimm


    I share some 3dmark scores 4420mhz corei7 power I used relaxed timing for 3dmark becasue not serious test only fun

    220 MHz is exactly what I could reach using a i7-965 for both Prime 95 and 1M stability. Compared to other boards the Eclipse was noticably slower than the other boards I tested in both 2D and 3D apps. =/ Might have been a BIOS issue, otherwise it would have been one of the better Core i7 boards =)

    Me and Eva2000 rocks on 4700mhz+ on air so have to beat that mate i just order a core i7 extreme 975 here in sweden D0 stepped $1200 dollar+ woot !!!

    be careful with running that much Vdimm on that board. Me and MIAHALLEN have both suffered blown DDR DIMMS on the MSI Eclispe.
