Sleeptime on SATA HDD's ? Samsung disks

I got me a 2 Spinpoint 500GB SATA Drives a week or 2-3 ago, and noticed that after a few minutes they power down. which is nice if it wheren't for the "lag" they generate when revving up again.

Now I want to prevent'm from doing this but I've looked in bios, nothing to be found there, i've looked in windows and no settings are really set to make'm sleep after like 10 minutes.

Anyone know where specifically I could find this?

The 2 drives are in a RAID 1 though so its prolly nto one of the drive settings but a RAID wide setting...

the system is the Dual Xeon one mentioned in my signature.

    Cheers guys

the option should be in the raid console, or in the driver. and u could also change it in power management options in the screen saver menu

Yep, this is set as part of the "Power schemes" settings.

I wish there was a way to apply the settings to individual disks.
