great clocks sampsa, an entertaining thread for sure....
20th Dec for Phenom II benches.
Gratz Finland for the new WR. Gonna post it up on CanardPC Validation, or you're gonna give us a chance
I like what Karmakazi has posted. Looks like these chips just like COLDness, instead of voltage linked to adequate cooling. For some reason that actually sounds better lol.
Great job. Everything was done to perfection and not overdone. You guys made AMD as the focal point seem cool again for a second. These are very exciting times for us silicon lovers.
19s 1mb super Pi on my phenom 2 at 3.4ghz. No NDA for moi
19 sec @3.4 is really good compared to 18.7@3.8 !! can you provide some SS ?

Got my system running yesterday and all I can say is, that ALL previous "AMD" world records are already broken with aircooling (Thermaltake True 120 copper)
I'll post some info later today. We can talk about voltages and clockspeeds, but direct performance numbers will be out later.
It's funny, how there is always people who doesn't understand, that we have to folow the NDA. I'm sure we will see some leaked results from Taiwan or somwhere before the end of NDA.
Patience.. just patience

Xtrem of nothing.
They must have really early ES in their hands like many vendors. I have heard similar results from my contacts and they couldn't even reach 5GHz.
We can forget those results
Latest ES and retail CPU's are totally different story.
Here is maximum MHz shot from today's tests. I used aircooling and fan was on low speed, cause higher speed didn't help. Those who asked about low HT link speed and NB speed have their answer here. On air you can play with these values without changing any voltage except vcore. My memory kit is some 18€ 2x1GB kit, so I can't tighten timings
Sorry! I had to took off some stuff just to be sure, that I'm not violating NDA
