not out of range, because if they're going to price it as they done with

DDR2 PC8888 i think they will probably sale half they could i wonder and they

might loose against other competitors, at least in sales perspective.

would be nice to let us know the chips they're using for this awsome kit.
    ^^^^^THIS^^^^^
With economy on the floor and not many people upgrading to i7, I hope they do price it decently. It would be really nice to have this sticks, but will most people be able to afford this?
    I can predict $700+

the great thing about i7 is that you don't need to spend a lot of money on ram to get all the bandwidth you NEED. so the 'most people' that will be upgrading will be getting probably more bandwidth than they need (15k+ r/w/c) with cheapazz ddr3 1066, 1333.
this stuff is strictly for benchers (and maybe, um, work stations?) that need the 35k+ r/w/c bw. and 700+ sounds about right for 3x2 with 3x1 2000 kits going for ~300

    In Greece 3x2Gb DDR-3 1600 cost 299 Euro. 3x2 DDR-3 1866 kit cost 499 Euro. So my guess is that 3x2 DDR-3 2000 will be around 699+
And its not always about what you need. Then everething would be simple. The hard thing is about what you desire. Maybe i should save one months salary for this kit

oh of course. i totally desire these stix too, cos i totally desire hardcore SPi 32M. But for the average desktop computer, the huge bandwidth of an effectively implemented IMC reduces the need for costly system RAM.

    Agreed
However, remember there is never such thing as "too much bandwidth"
We would all like to have this sticks and not have to wait months for it to come affordable.

We would all like to have 965 and $400 Motherboards, and Ferrari's and Lambo's etc

Yeah i know i escalated a bit too much, but a $400 motherboard is the equivalent of a Ferrari or Lambo in the car world...

    Hey guys,

Is it possible to put these in your system, let them run on 2000MHz spec and be safe on your hardware so you can run with these speeds on 24/7?

Without damaging the cpu or motherboard of your pc over time?

Hey bachus, I just wrote an article for Fudzilla about your preview of these sticks. Let me know what you think, as I am a new guy on their team (was looking for work, they offered, and I thought they could use a credibility boost so I opted for the job). Anyways, thanks for the details and keep up the work!

But is a QPI/Dram Voltage of 1.65v Safe?

I know Dram voltage of 1.65v is Safe. But on Higher Frequency Ram kits running faster then DDR3-1600 They need more than Intel's Max Safe QPI/DRAM voltage of 1.35v.

In the Corsair GT Screen shots, stability at DDR3-2000 with 7-8-7-20 Timings is being achieved at running both Dram and QPI/Dram at 1.65v.

Yesterday my Black Pi DDR3-2000 CL9 Triple channel kit arrived and it needs 1.50 QPI/Dram volts to run stable at its rated specs, but is that safe?
