there were some rumors here and there, but i think now that all mouth's are

shut, and off course it its a great choice (if not the best - inc. bundle,

special features, awsome bios, cooling, support)

IMHO perhaps the cons would be prices and high voltages

i'm a owner of a P6T DLX, and i would be looking foward for this one, if

    b3 chipsets weren't listed.

I had similar disappointing experience with 2000GT kit on Bloodrage until i got a bios update(G19a). Now runs cas 7 no problem.

I know this has been asked before, is QPI/VTT voltage of 1.6-1.65v safe

and what should the IOH core voltage be set at ?

For that matter what is safe volts to run CPU PLL? " under water for the cpu and qpi north bridge thingy "

    Hello Guys,

on this Weekend we have our Live OC-Session on CeBIT '09 here in Germany at Corsairs booth.

We have to work with the DOMINATOR-GT 2000C7
after the Weekend Bluebeard gives me this f***in nice memory to test it at my place and have one week fun with them.

    Here are my Pics:

Yesterday I test them on my EVGA Board.
Works fine, but they only do what they must do...

    need 1,8V for 1050 7-8-7-20 1T in 32M

    will continue testings today

I also have a Bloodrage, what VTT did you need to reach 2000 @ cas 7?

no one really knows yet, benching 1.4-1.65v cpu vtt myself and no problems so far, 24/7 i'd stick to 1.3-1.4v myself.

I'm running 24/7 205 bclk and 7-8-7-20 1t with 1.56 vtt. Note that vtt is entirely dependent on how lucky you were with your cpu puchase and what clocks you are aiming for.

    Wise words indeed!

Some i7´s don´t like high vtt @ all - try and error is the way to go to get the GTs up where you want them...

We have made a little Video about the TEC Cooling of the CORSAIR DOMINATOR-GT's.

Klick on the Picture for Video!

in our case the TEC Cooling gives us a gain of 15-20 MHz (on 7-8-7-20 1T 1,8V)

    I can reach 1053MHz 7-8-7-20 1T @ 1,8V 32M Stable but more isn't possible

4GB detection usually occurs when vdimm and cpu vtt (uncore) differential balance isn't correctly set to what your core i7 cpu likes.. so play with the vdimm and cpu vtt somewhat. Same improper balance between vdimm and cpu vtt can also cause everest/sandra bandwidth to report lower than it should even if full tri kit modules are detected.

These kits are validated at 1.65v vdimm and 1.6v CPU VTT (uncore) volts.

Right now I'm working backwards for my tests starting with max intel spec'd 1.35v CPU VTT and seeing how my GTs scale as i bump CPU VTT (vdimm is no longer the sole factor determining memory frequency/timing overclocks)!
Beware of RTL (Round Trip Latency) settings up high now also, they might need finite adjustment based on the board's BIOS settings, IMC quality, memory type/settings, and IOH setup . Once you get to this level, the amount of interaction required to get a stable system is rather painful. I recreated your problem on the DFI board last Friday, switched over to the Gigabyte Extreme and RE II now for clocking this memory up.

    Hi guys,

I had finally found time to focus some more on overclocking action with our Dominator 2000C7 GT!

If you're interested in what we've been up to, and what came out of it , click on the image to watch a video I cooked up

As far as I've seen around, some current triple-channel DDR3 frequency records fell in this video - top DDR3 frequency in triple-channel 3x2GB configuration and max. SuperPi 32M stable

YouTube video (switch to HQ mode for better fidelity) --- click on image

    SuperPi 32M @ DDR3-2266 7-8-7-20

    SuperPi 32M @ DDR3-2280 7-8-7-20

    CPU-Z Validation @ DDR3-2380 7-8-7-20, triple-channel 3x2GB

CPUVtt / Uncore voltage is not correctly reported in TurboV - it's not thaaat high

Let me know what you think about the video, and the results, please

BTW: More 2000C7GTs for those of you interested in snatching one for yourself are coming into the Corsair Store within days now... Stand by

woah and here i was joking with FUGGER last night who will hit DDR3-2400 32M PI stable first - you're freakin close

FYI, i think Andre has A-DATA 2133X Elpida at DDR3-2286Mhz 7-8-7-20 for 32M pi IIRC

Ah thanks Gary for the hard work, strange how not all elpida ics exhibit the problem of lower max frequency single super pi 32m compared to 4x or 8x super pi 32m max frequency - even on DFI board.

I think fugger did ~2360 32m with the samsungs.

Those look a lot better than my GT's, I think, but I'm not certain. I've never been over 2260, but maybe I haven't tried hard enough.
