For now a freind of mind cell me a Xeon 5680 ( the same of X980 ) and any on can tell me if it's OK tu run on the R2E with the bios 1802 ?

It seems like that ones best, from what people report. I'll have to flash back to it when I have more time.
So, I've been testing my 920, and it passes IBT 10 passes, and goes for quite some time on P95. But on overnight tests, when I get up in the morning, its crashed out. It has not rebooted or frozen, but P95 has stopped working. What does that usually indicate? Reboots are vcore, right? Any suggestions?

prime is outdated for i series, mine will always pass and then fall over on linX
when you can prime for a few hours n cant pass 1 min of linx lol ....

I'll try linx. I'll post some settings after I play around for a while.
Been trying linx. Seems to hit a wall @ 4250 HT on. Seeing if it has more with it off. 1.35v LLC enabled.

Great, i finally got my xeon at 20x200. Tomorow i'll test it at 22x200 to see how far i can go with an aircooler. Thank you for the 1913.

Cool! Thanks! I'll flash it tomorrow and try it out. I was at the coast for the weekend, but been playing with bclk a little. Testing @ 220, seems stable.
