That green shiny thing looks hazardous
RADIOACTIVE CAPACITORS! Ionizing radiation is the new upscaling
The height of the card bracket, is this card for HTPC crowd ? Or will it come with a bracket suited with a standard ATX case ?
Check the other thread.
It's full of information.

Open up a thread in the appropriate section and tell us what you're going to do with your PC/sound card.
If you need it for gaming you need the A card.
If you're more interested in studio-type recordings you're better off with the B card, etc.
Supply the other members with information regarding your requirements, your limitations ( perhaps only having a PCI-Express x1 slot available, etc ), your intentions, etc to get some good advice by the fellas

To those wondering the card will be bundled with both normal and low profile brackets so you can install in most cases. You could recap the card if you want and add a better opamp but the stock caps don't look to bad as it is. Will have to run the card through it paces and see what it is actually capable of.
Looks good. I like it.

Wonder how much better or if any at all than the x-fi titanium.
IIRC, The Forte is said to have a 120dB DAC so it should easily surpass the Titanium.
You can also pop in a higher quality opamp and further improve the sound quality. The Forte has yet to be tested in the realworld using analyzer software..etc.
