    Talking How it starts....

As I'm seak and tierd of the 99% of the motherboard AND VGA manufacturers do their VCore and VPGU circuits, I decided to walk alone on this.....

    How it starts !.......

First you think what you EXACTLY want....

Then you just start to through in different components you want...

Then you start design what you want.....

You pick 100A out of each phase of the circuit and 400A TOTAL in all four of them.......NOT bad for a PEAK 650Watts switching circuit and ~480Watts real.!..

My ONLY problem is that I can't make myself a triple or quad layers PCB so I stuck on dual layer with some "regular components" involved.......

    I'll update with more details.....

Behold the begining of the "VGPU+VCore Maximizer"......

I want so too......One of them powering BOTH cores of a 4870x2 or one GTX 280 .....
PLUS one for the ASUS Rampage Extreme for a QUAD that is a real pain in the arss to do it on it's own....

For start I'll make three of them.... Two for the 4870x2 hoping to see 1100MHz+ on each core and one for the mobo's VCore.....

What more?......More Amperes?.... I could add another 4 phases to do it 1KW VCore supply......

BUT I want it to be as small as possible that's the reason I didn't add Voltage reading and current reading digital circuit....
Maybe in the future I could place another PCB like a "sandwitch" over this one for readings and "up-down-enter" microprossesor circuit not to have the dip switches for peaking the VCore....

Its dimentions now are 13cm x 12 cm

Yes I may be a legend as you say (but who cares! ) BUT why all companies just DON'T do their job OK from the start and I HAVE to spend my precious time for that?.....

because they do for a living, you do for fun, so you are much more enthusiastic. I think design goals are far different too...you for maximum power, them for maximum compatibility...

what really interests me is connecting thi to the board...vga, ok, no issues, but mobo...yikes!

Guys this project is for MY OWN usage and ONLY....
It is NOT going to go outside my door.....

Conenctions will be done with short cables from this PCB to the VGA/mobo and long thick cables through a connector from this PCB to a 600Watts 12Volts Switching PSU....

Yes, I don't think many here has the know-how to deal with such a mod, but we are VERY eager to see your results. My comments are more in awe of what it is you are undertaking...no small task, for sure.
