    That is interesting how triple channel has higher latencies than dual channel, as shown by Techreport. It makes dual channel a nice option for now. Say, if 4GB of expensive DDR3 is all you can afford, then it is not too bad compared to triple channel, and there's the ability to upgrade to 6GB.

    Single channel is even less

    Its the issues you have for running it in "raid0". But we like the extra bandwidth.

    However it would be nice to make some new DIMMs soon. Perhaps at 128, 192 or 256bit so we dont have to use 4 DIMMs in the somewhat near future like we did last time with FP EDO ram.

    That should also fix the added latency. Plus it would trigger the IGP performance revolution.
