    Isn't that a little slow(even if it's an e4300) for 3511mhz...

    Here's an old SS I managed to dig up:

    16.844s / Abit AB9 Quadgt / e4300 @ 3294mhz / G.skill HZs @ 458mhz 4-4-4-12 /

    quick run of spi, no optimizations at all and on 12gb with vista ultimate 64... i bet i could shave at least 0.2secs if i would use xp and optimisations.

    On water, ambient 26C, at 1.512 bios. Funny thing this run at room temp w/1.512v core LLC bios is near max mhz (LN2, etc aside).

    Max suicide cpuz is 4670mhz at room temp, even using 1.68vcore and all other applicable volts redlined. Outside cold temps 5c with box fan does not help much either, gain 90 mhz to 4760, realtemp reads 18-20C instead of 45c as pic.

    I would imagine what they are trying to say is "not my best shot", which also goes for me here.

    :edit: i just tried to validate my own superpi with the checksum there but it says invalid checksum. What the hell?

    :edit: apparently the validation thing is broken, nevermind. We could just make up any old scores

    Yeah, i7 shows some definite performance gains vs penryn even at same clocks, loonym has a Q9650 at the same clock as my i940, with faster memory and a second slower;

    Just a tiny OC.

    Just got my E8400, Mobo, Antec 900, and GameXstrem 600 watt for X-Mas . Load temps with prime 95 are 38C. I will probably attempt 4.0 GHZ tommorow, though. I'll probably loosen memory timings and increase voltages. Motherboard won't let me go below 667 with the ram speed. Hopefully I will get some new ram by the end of the week.

    Specs

    E8400
    P5QL-Pro
    Corsair 2 Gig (667 )
    ATI Radeon 4850
