    New GPU Benchmark Feature Wanted...

    New GPU Benchmark/Feature Wanted...

I would like to see a GPU benchmark made that loads the system up, with 50% Graphics work, and 50% PhysX work at the same time, then give us a score...

We have some GPU benchmarking programs currently out, that test your systems graphics calculating ability, or PhysX calculating ability, but not both at the same time.

Vantage has their PhysX test, but that wont show the advantage of running a dedicated PhysX processor due to there not being enough Graphics work to do during the test. If there was, the advantage of the now stressed primary GPU loaded up with Graphics work, would then more appreachiate having the luxury of being able to unload the PhysX work to another GPU operating in dedicated PhysX mode...

We just have too many Graphics only tests, or Pure PhysX tests...

Now that we know Cryostasis shines using a 200 series dedicated PhysX processor, over an 8 or 9 series dedicated processor, we need a way to better measure performance of various GPU's.

I would like to see a GPU test, that would better show a speed rating of the various GPU's, when operating in dedicated PhysX mode.

I think the primary GPU processing graphics, would need to be also loaded up for this to happen. Just like in an actual PhysX game.
