Overclocking high fsb w/ 8gb memory... help!

Just wondering if anyone has had luck hitting 450-500fsb with 8gb (4sticks) of memory? I know i7 has changed this game with trichannel, but I'm stuck at around 400 fsb with my current setup and it seems the memory is too much for the board to handle.

on that rig it will require fine tuning of the NB voltage, NB GTL voltages, etc... 450 though shouldn't pose much of a problem... I advise you to contact Zucker2K (he's in most X38/X48 threads....)

And to make things easier plz post all of ya bios settings

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Will do. Right now I have my Q9550 at 400fsb, 3.4ghz @ 1.1 vcore! It's running Orthos right now, but this thing is performing freakishly well right now with really low voltage. The board voltages are lower right now than they've ever been. I'm on my laptop right now so I'll post bios settings a bit latter.

Yeah quad core would be FSB limited somewhat..

no probs with my E8600 and HD4870x2 Crossfire and 8GB Mushkin @530mhz 5-5-5-15
