    Core i7 965EE + ASUS Rampage ll Extreme @LN2

    Finally 5G was able to exceed , though it had a hard time.

    Because the current tightening fittings are not able to be used for LGA1366, bench stand is home brew.

    Very nice
    Tho not quite what I hoped to see. 5Ghz seems to be pretty hard on a 965EE.. guess the chances to run one at 5Ghz all day stable with a mere phase unit (at around -30C) are slim to none
    You think 4,8Ghz could be doable?

    Would there be much of a difference between the i920 and i940 with those higher clocks? What would the percentage be? That's what I am hoping to see real soon ...

    Nice start for sure.
    Did you have to do much tweaking for >5GHz? If so what did you do?

    @jcool-san,
    It's so hard...
    965ES, clock was not go up till here.

    @TheKarmakazi-san
    Set on BIOS to 2.00V

    @PcCI2iminal-san
    And 8M or more were not able to be update with E8600.
    I want to update it by 965EE.
    Please say hello to yoko-san!

    @T_M-san
    No tweak...
    Only a good chip can be likely to be done.

    Thanks for your estimation omega-san.. so it's gonna be more like 4,5-4,7Ghz daily depending on the chip?

    Many thanks!

    @jcool-san,
    I think that need try with many chips.
    Likely to be find to use it for using regularly by around 4.5G if it does so.

    very fast 32M
    congrats

    it's a shame that it is so hard to even hit 5Ghz with these CPUs but they are just crazy fast in 32M SuperPi
    i love it
