Back to the old tree pics posted a few days ago, I think my 18-140 lens needs some attention as it does not seem to be picking up as much detail/colour as it should, below is a shot taken using my 35mm f/1.8 lens, the only thing done is a slight straighten, nothing more, both shots taken @ the same time of day, late afternoon, and the difference is like night and day

Got one, but didn't use on the day

Got me a Tamron SP AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD Lens on Tuesday, I'm impressed, soooooooooooo much more detail/colour and light compared to the Nikon 18-140, I think I'll be buying more Tampon gear in the future

Just did a test run of magic lantern's dual iso raw. I'm in love. According to the converter tool my dynamic range went from ~6 to ~10 (depending on the shot). If you have a canon you NEED to try this.

Too bad there is no ML for the 70D yet. Looks like it does a great job though.

Practically every Cannon DSLR except the 70D which seems a bit strange ??

I really like the out of focus detail on yours and Darakian's flowers, something I haven't tried/mastered yet, and when I get near a flowering plant its days will be numbered...........as I have a black thumb
