Screwing around with post processing techniques...
Hows the sharpness and saturation on this image?
It looks to be a bit over saturated right off the camera.

reds might be a little heavy but not much.
it looks like the skin is a little pink, but not bad because fair skinned people will have a bit of pink to their skin

EAgle, looks great man, that little guy is growing up to be a big boy, wow. he's going to be a big kid.

    11" MacBook Air.

It actually runs fairly cool stock, for a Apple ultraportable. But now full load temps are only 10ºC higher than idle temps. Not like its going to make a difference, its a stock clock 1.4 C2D... lol

its not 24 hours but its a new day!

here is one using more of my quirky custom picture styles.
i wasnt sure if i liked it until i looked at it more.
This picture style was meant to be shot either in lower light or vastly underexposed, meaning, -2ev or more in broad daylight.

what has made me enjoy this picture more is the fact that its shot as jpeg like this right out of the camera (as i have stated many times you can do with custom picture styles)
i like what it did to the grass. it shifted the green to give it a pseudo turquois look. plus, it grayed out other parts of the grass.
its a strange look, almost like Camoflaugebut i like it. i want to do some trees and see what happens.

next is boosted the saturation of the leaf, and shifted the color slightly to give it a more orange hue (i think) the leaf in real life was more faded.

couple of weeks ago. got rid of my Mark two after i decided full frame was the sh|t lol.

trying to decide if i want to get the 135mm F/2L or the 24-70 F/2.8L
the 135mm is a killer lens and hard to pass up, but the 24-70 is a killer lens too.
the other lens that has just made me pass out in awe is the Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/100 ZE but i am just not too sure i am willing to fork over $1800 for a 100mm lens lol, but it is a monster

50mm/f2 is very similar, but ofc not that strong macro, more all-around lens that still can do exceptional macro..

24-70? Are you serious? Have you seen tests of that thing?..

I think you should get the Zeiss 100mm. Then when you realize that since you have such a nice lens you do not need that Tamron 70-200, I'll be there to take it off your hands. I won't even charge you!

hahahah @ kain - that zeis is a freak of nature, omg! you should see the pictures over at PoTN in the lens sample section.
crispness and clarity like i have never seen from another lens.

yeah on a FF camera zooms just dont feel lik zooms anymore.
70-200mm just doesnt feel like much. but i have never owned one until now. i have really only used 70-300 which, that extra 100mm does make a difference.

@ Mesca - i have looked quite alot at the 24-70, the old 28-70, the 24-105 and others and the 24-70 is the best, although i do like the reach option of the 24-105
the 24-70 suffers from the same thing pretty much most zooms do, when you get to the far end you need to stop them down otherwise they suffer.

really the 24-70 in the 24-50mm range is great @ 2.8 after that you really need to use f/4 or it suffers.

there isnt anything wrong with the 24-70 really, but honestly i expect better coming from such an expensive lens

if you have any thoughts, by all means share them.

i did get a good deal on a 100mm F/2.8L IS Macro and it will be here monday, so we'll see what i can do with that.
after using the Nikon 105mm F/2.8 IS Macro, i want another one in canon flavor of course.
