Yes me and a few friends drove down there yesterday, had a good time. Funny how the sign says no campfires, yet there were four or five on the beach. However, climbing back up barefoot in near pitch black is very sketchy!

Many great shots! Took many spot on great shots earlier today, but this random one shot from the hip is my fav of walk today; Down the street, 35mm CV Nokton@f1.4. So much wrong with it but sometimes its the most unexpected that stand out the most.

All along the watchtowers by Ilya Cherkasov, on Flickr

Probably already posted, but it's a new iteration of the image.

View large to see the actual watchtower.

Spent allot my my life under that tower, pretty much everyone who has grown up or lived in silicone valley knows of Mt. Umunhum. Actually was taking some pictures around it in the Almaden Quicksilver mine last week.

Used to be a big Radar dish spinning on top of it. They removed it in 1979, my Freshman year at Camden high school. It used to watch for Japanese planes attacking.
