it must be a nightmare to shoot a basketball game, lighting is probably so bad!
i would take any clear/sharp shot that i could get.

I understand how hard it is to shoot an event, the hardest thing is to focus.

yeah the lighting is horrible. depend on which side of the court i shot it was always different and whenever the main photograph triggered his strobes my shots were wrecked, that happened a lot.

canon got my camera last friday and they shipped it back monday and i had it tuesday... even the tech support guy couldn't beleive they got it done that fast.

its still not totally right but i am going to run thru a few hundred shots before i make any brash decisions.

when its on its on, but when its off... there is no doubt its off. they calibrated it in such a way that i dont know how they could miss the massive front focus and back focus from the 50mm to 85mm.
but again when its on, its on.

if i had to do it all again i would have gotten the 5D MKII
