    OCCT 3.1.0.b04

    Changelog :
    Main (OCCT GUI)

    * GPU:OCCT v0.70 has been integrated !
    * OCCT now detects and displays the name of your graphic card (only if it supports internal monitoring, i'm relying on CPU-Z to do this detection)
    * OCCT now auto-configure the Shader complexity value based on a CSV file named "ShaderComplexity.csv" file that you can edit. First match on the GC name wins. Wildcards are supported. Edit the file, it's pretty easy to understand.
    * A compatibility checking engine has been implemented, that improves OCCT's detection of your computer's compatibility with Cuda and D3D tests.

    OCCT 3.1.0.b06

    # Main screen resolution will be detected when the user clicks on Fullscreen checkbox in GPU:3D and Power Supply tabs.
    # SLI/Crossfire detection improved
    # Translation files updates
    # A sanity check has been added that verifies that the .exe tests are there, all of them. Seems an "of course", but this ensures the integroty of the download, and that the user indeed uncompress the .zip file with the folder intact.
    # Help has been added on the Shader Complexity value
    # The red square used to display text in the GPU:3D test has been made wider. We thus jumped to GPU:3D v0.71. Minor modification.

    I'm having an issue with OCCT not displaying voltages properly on my i7 920/EVGA X58 Micro-ATX setup. It doesn't display correct voltages for Vcore or any of the PSU volatages.

    I'm assuming this is a compatibility issue, since I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, but haven't yet had any luck searching for a solution. Wondering if it could be related to the DirectX9 issue mentioned in post #258?

    I figure this has been covered elsewhere, but danged if I can find it.

    In the OCCT setting you can set which software you want to displaying voltages properly:
    Built-in,Everest,MM 5,SpeedFan 4.xx and SysTool 1.0.
    Best are Everest(enable in Preferences/External Application) and set in OCCT what you want to display.

    A little thread necro here, but I have run into a problem with OCCT 3.1.0 and my Gulftown processor. It seems that the program doesn't read the temps on the hex core i7 procs correctly. It will only show 2 temp boxes active, with the other 2 grayed out. And the numbers it's posting are totally bogus, showing around 27 C max. And they don't follow processor loading either. The program itself seem to load all 6 ocres well and also will handles hyperthreading fine too, but the temp monitoring is FUBAR.

    Do you plan to update this fine benchmarking tool you have made? I sincerely hope so, since it has been working so well for me until now. I've been using this as my loading and recording program when testing heatsinks, but the broken temp readings kind of messes that up with my new Gulftown.

    Have you tried changing the sensor setting to "use alternate" ?

    No I haven't. Can it use Real temp as the alternate? Because I know that Real Temp works with Gulftown. The only choices I see for different software are Everest, which I don't have and won't pay for, Speedfan, which I have found to give me problems recently, MBM which is older than crap and Systool v.1.0, which I've never messed with before.

    OCCT 4.0.0 Beta 2

    http://www.ocbase.com/OpenBeta/OCCTPT4.0.0.b02.zip

    OCCT v4 is under heavy, heavy work. It will soon reach the alpha stage, and is a major release.

    It will bring notably :

    * New interface written in C# 2.0
    * Real-time graphs
    * Tests handling improved, options simplified
    * Alerts (Min/max) will be configurable per sensor, and not only for the CPU temp
    * Fan monitoring

    Tests themselves will be next on the line of modifications, mainly :

    * Port GPU:3D to DirectX10 or 11
    * Redo the GPU:Mem test i'm not happy with
    * Update CPU:Linpack

    Propagation of my betas here is still very quick

    just to mention that this is a very early unstable beta, and you *will* encounter bugs with it, and some features are still missing (updating the tests, for instance, the translations, automatic "built-in" loading... etc).

    if you don't flame me for all the bugs, feel free to test it

    I love OCCT, but sensors and temps aren't read correctly on new boards and I had to stop using it

    I can't wait, OCCT 2.0.1 is my favorite for older platforms, in combination with 3.1.4 of course

    Every update of OCCT improves the monitoring/CPU detection logic, so it should be better with OCCT v4.

    As if it wasn't always better with versions that aren't stabilized or released yet

    As i said to stasio, those are early betas and reflect have gone over a year or so of development, despite the looks, it is a very major release. i do suspect that the list of betas will be long this time...

    not sure if this is included, and if not i have a request:

    i love the charts and data acquisition, but there was no way to use it unless i turn on a test. so can we have a monitoring mode which logs all the numbers but without stressing any component?

    is there any improvements on temp monitoring for multi processor systems?, IIRC, the version I was using on my quad quad (probably mid 3, late2..can't remember which one) would only monitor one set of cores
    Current System:
    eVGA 680i SLi "A2" P30 BIOS
    intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (currently at stock)
    OCZ ReaperX 4GB DDR2 1000 (running at DDR2 800 Speeds with cas4)
    320GB Seagate 7200.10
    XFX 8800GT XXX 512MB (stock clocks)
    auzentech X-Fi Prelude
    PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 Quad Copper

    OCCT PT 4.0.0.b05 OUT !

    Changelog (in english as people are copy/pasting it from here) :

    Graphs are now in a separate window
    The graph window is resizeable. if it is in float mode, it is maximizable also.
    You will now be asked to include comments in your bug report if you find an error
    Linpack doesn't crash in automatic mode
    Linpack libraries updated

    The CPU time taken for updating the graphs is related to the graph size, be warned !

    And a huge load of bugs.

    Enjoy !

    OCCT 4.0.0 Beta 6

    http://www.ocbase.com/OpenBeta/OCCTPT4.0.0.b06.zip

    * GraphTheme file created : please customize it and send it to me... i do hope i'll receive at least some themes...
    * Font size is now linked to the window size for monitoring. Up to some extent, of course (i don't want REALLY big fonts displayed).
    * Linpack updated - works on AMD CPUs now
    * Test statuses revamped - please do careful review of all tests
    * Tests are now stored within the exe instead of the bin folder. This will avoid the security warning on Windows XP
    * Donations are now possible directly from the main interface, and a popup asks for donations, only at the first launch
