anyone know who has the fastest air super-pi
Give me a couple weeks and I'll beat your Super PI with a aircooled 3000+ Noise isnt a factor is it, I'll put the machine in a wind tunnel.
Hopefully I'll get a nice newcastle core and hit like 2.65ghz (9x295) and run full 1:1 DDR590

=[PULSAR]= is your kv8pro a revision 1.1 and if so does vdimm work after 2.8v
Yep 1.1 with a working lock, but why lock the AGP/PCI when its helps 3D performance. Well in bios you can only set it to 2.8v but once you get a OS installed get the first version of uGuru and you can raise it to 3.2v, so the first time you boot just set the vdimm to 3.2v and reboot to bios and you will have a couple wierd characters where vdimm should be but under voltage monitoring it shows 3.2v. Also, VTT does not go any higher than 1.4v so you dont have to worry about burning the mem controller on your cpu.
if vtt stays at 1.4 that will create instability using vdimm from 2.9-3.2. i know cause i had a kv8-max3 with the vtt issue and vdimm above 2.8 was useless. u sure vtt stays below 1.4? i was hoping that they'd fixed it with rev 1.1
oh well just have to mod then
Well the vtt stays at a constant 1.45v, but I havent found any instabilities about it. At one time I was running OCZ PC3200 @ DDR470 w/3.2v and it worked fine for me.
hmmm. i'm def going to test one. thanks for the info
Verdict,
Damn good clocks man...
Kickass chip you got there... full stepping please?
can you test 1m sPi please?

Nice clocks king, But put on that baby phasechage and add some voltages... You can reache 3ghz pretty easily.
I Plan on it .... I'm just playin on air till chilly gets my cascade done. I'm hoping for alot more than 3ghz :PNice clocks king, But put on that baby phasechage and add some voltages... You can reache 3ghz pretty easily.
I think 3.1Ghz + is completely possible with a good 3700+. That would rock, since my CPU maxes out at 3005Mhz, but i'm working on more.
BTW, are you planning some 1:1 action? Maybe you should consiber EB3700
I am running it 1:1 in those benches. This one bh-5 stick will go 280-285 1:1 @ 5-2-2-2 but it needs over 3.5v.
The 3700eb looks good to tho.
Kickass mem you got there.
BTW Your PSU is modded?

does that uguru vdimm trick work with the new epox 250 boards?
uguru is on ABit mobos only...

Well, having a A64 at 2.6GHz is still great, and will be great for gaming for a long time too. As soon as i get money for a X800-XT i can start thinking about better cooling. But first things first
