    That depends of the Cooling.

If you have som Prometeia then about 27-2800 Mhz..
If you get a lucky chip 2850.2900..
    2900 at MAX...

    On air 2500 Mhz..

    I think..

With a bit of luck u will even get 2600 or 2650. I have seen some A64's run @ 2600 on WC .

2500 is very doable with some big-ass aircooling. With that WC u will be able to get that without any real struggle i think .

I've bought a Gigabyte K8N pro motherboard and I would like to change the memory timings...
But in the original bios I cannot do that.

Does anybody know how to change them?

    Pedro/OPP:

Are you using a PCI controller like promise? Or have you tryed not using the PCI controller card?

I've got the same motherboard as you (k8N pro), but I can't go beyond 225MHz HT.
Might it be the PCI thats not locked??

I set VDDQ tot +1v, VHT to +1 and Vdimm to +3v.

So there is a lock, or your HD is very tolerant.
Which bios version are you using?

I'm now testing 220x10 with 1,65v. No probs in windows.
But when I set 230, I can't go further then the post. (blue screen)

Is the VDDQ and VCC12_HT important with OC? and what is the best LBT speed?

    best bet do this

    max vcore
    max vdimm
set ldt to 2x via the bios post at 215-220mhz fsb

use clockgen in windows to see the max "STABLE" the fsb you can achive

I bet you pass 230mhz if the cpu can handle the new speed same goes for ram

BTW what DDR are ya runing ?
My mobo is not yet been modded.

vDDQ and VC12_HT is set to +0.2v.

My memory is running at 191MHz @230FSB.
This is because i have PC2700 memory and I can't swith to 1:1....

I think with a mod I wil come a lot further, because now I need more Vcore and more Vdimm to run my memory @400MHz 5-2-2-2.

also drop that ddr that is hoildiing you wayyyyyyyyyyyy back get real ram that is "MADE" to run with the full speed of thre onchip ddr controler. q
I know, this ram only get fast with high voltages...
It can max out to 500MHz with 3.3/3.4v. (5-2-2-2)

Im now looking for BH-5 memory.
    And thanks!

    250 2-2-2-5 is normal for BH5 at 3.3v.....

You sure BH5 will do any better than what you have?

That's a damn nice clock for Infineon 2700...

I haven't try 3.35v and higher on my Infineon USA PC2700.
    On my 4pda2+ I maxed out 490MHz 5-2-2-2 3.34v
But a to high DDR voltage might damage the onchip memory controller...

But the BH-5 will do better at lower voltage than my Infineon.

What can I expect to hit?

Just got my 3000+ (0344) and receiving my Chaintech nForce3 tonight.
I've got some Corsair PC3200 TwinX (Ver. 1.1), VapoChill XE and WaterChill for the NB.

    Without a VMOD - is 2400-2500 possible?

Soundwave - with that new chip 2400-2500 should be attainable. especially with below ambient cooling. post results later?
